Verna Mae Waldron, 73 of Alum Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston after a short illness.
She was a homemaker, a member of Cobbs Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Sod and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Waldron and grandson, Nickolas Monday.
She is survived by her: 2 Daughters and their husbands: Melinda and Mike Monday of Nitro; Terry and Richard Foster of St. Albans; Grandchildren: Brandon, Josh, Brittany and Corey; Great Granddaughter: Madison;
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, Friday, December 13, 2002 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Kordusky officiating. Burial will be in the Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
