Delores “Dose” Morris-Javins, 85, of Ashford went to rest, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at her Emmons residence.
She was born July 3, 1930 to the late Scott and Brookie Pauley Bell. Delores worked hard all her life and loved being in the woods. She always looked forward to spring to be the first to find molly moochers. She loved and cherished her family dearly.
Delores was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Morris and Charles “Doggie” Javins; brothers, G. L. and David; sisters, Nana Alice and Francis Power; and step daughter, Darlene (Rex) Butcher.
She is survived by children, Phillip (Denene) Morris, Barry (Tina) Morris, Cathy Morris and her companion, Steve Smith; grandchildren, Charlie, Erik, Gary (Jill), Katie (Anthony) Balla and Zachary Morris; great-granddaughter, Summer Morris; brothers, Jack, Don and Larry Bell; sister, Phyllis Blankenship; stepchildren Charles (Samantha) Javins and Gayle (Christi) Javins; step-grandchildren, Melissa, Cassy, Nikki, Tiffany, Kayla, Courtney and Cody; step-great-grandchildren, Nolan Stephen, Ian and Khloe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Rumble Community Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Harold officiating. Burial will follow at Barker Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
