Vickers, 73, of Ravenswood, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 at St. Joseph&#8217;s Hospital Parkersburg, after a short illness.<\/p>\n<p>He was retired from Kroger&#8217;s with 38 years service and was a member of the Teamster Union.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his: Wife: Marie; 3 Sons: Harold Rodger Vickers of Salisbury, NC; Bruce Wayne Vickers of Danville, WV; Bobby Allen Vickers of Danville, WV; 2 Sisters: Brookie Breedlove of Woodville, WV; Francis Summerfield of Alum Creek, WV; 2 Grandchildren: Mary Anne and Kayla Shea.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clell Woodrum officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hill Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Friday, October 29, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harold W.
