Holstein, 89 of Emmons died Sunday, October 17, 1999 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston after a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>He was a retired coal miner and formerly worked at Black Band Coal Co. on Lynns Creek and was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of Emmons Freewill Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his: 2 Brothers: Gilbert Holstein of Charleston, WV; Sherman Holstein of Emmons, WV; 1 Sister: Nellie Armstrong of Hernshaw, WV; Several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 20, 1999 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Rev. F. A. Giles officiating. Burial will be in Holstein Family Cemetery, Dartmont.
