Matthew Lee “Matt” Presley, 17, of Sissonville died on Sunday, February 20, 2000 at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital after a short illness.<\/p>\n
He attended the 10’s grade at Sissonville High School where he participated in the Special Olympics, was active in the Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle at Edens Fork and was a life long resident of Kanawha County.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his: Parents: Tony and Pam Presley; Paternal Grandmother: Jean Thompson of Chazleston, WV; Paternal Grandfather: Roy Ray Presley of Mims, FL; Maternal Grandfather: Donnie Midkiff of AlumCreek, W V; Maternal Great Grandmother Thelma Midkiff of Monroe, LA.<\/p>\n
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, February 24, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Pastor John Hensley officiating. Burial will be held in the Turley Family Cemetery, Alum Creek.
