Jones, 84, ofAlum Creek, died Sunday, January 30, 2000 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston after a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>She was a homemaker and a member of the Alum Creek Independent Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew C. Jones and her youngest daughter, Hazel Packtor, both of Alum Creek.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her: 3 Sons: Clyde Jones of West Haven, CT; Roy Jones of Alum Creek, W V; Shelby Jones of North Guilford, CT; 1 Daughter: Helen Slater of Clinton, CT; 16 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will beheld in Mid-Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 1, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elma C.
