ARNOLD “BUSTER” GILLISPIE, 76, OF ALUM CREEK, DIED THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, 1993 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS A RETIRED GLASS CUTTER FROM LIBBEY OWENS FORD GLASS CO., CHARLESTON, DIVISION. HE WAS A WWII VETERAN, 82 AIR BORN DIVISION, ARMY. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE D.A.V. VFW AND A MEMBER OF THE GLASS LEAGUE CUTTERS OF AMERICA.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, ISABELLE WESTFALL GILLISPIE; 2 DAUGHTERS: DEBORAH MAYNORD OF LYNCHBURG, VA; PAM COOK OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 2 SONS: ARNOLD GILLISPIE, JR. OF PIKEVILLE, KY; DAVID GILLISPIE OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 8 GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 14, 1993 AT 11:00 AM WITH REV. PAUL DEBORD OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN GRACELAND MEMORIAL PARK, SO. CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 1993.
