Evelene Allen Hunt, 71, of Nitro, WV, passed away at home on Monday, May 26, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Colum Hunt, parents: Sidney and Mearl Allen and two sisters and 3 brothers.
She was retired from the Diamond Chain Co., Indianapolis, IN. She was a Christian.
She is survived by 3 sisters: Linda R. Harper; Pearl & John Joyce and Imogene and David Fisher; two brothers: Ronald and Sharon Allen and Calvin Allen ; step-son: Daniel and Kellie Hunt; step-grandchildren: Peter and Taylor and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with one hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will be at the Anderson Cemetery at Pine Grove, WV.
Carl Edward Pauley, 76, of South Charleston died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice West, South Charleston, after a long illness.
He was a retired auto mechanic.
He is survived by children Jody Hensley, caregiver, Tina Smith, Linda Thornton, Sharon Cobb, Carl Pauley II, Becky Parker and many grand and great grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Marie Michaelson, Barbara Tackett, Debbie Barker and Phyllis Baldwin.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 27th, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Gene Pauley officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Lucille Hager Tully, 74, of Morrisvale, passed peacefully Monday, May 19, 2014, at home with her family by her side.
She was retired as the Head Start Director for Boone County. She was a Christian and “loved” bowling, working in her flower garden, playing cards with friends and most of all she loved her family.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Maggie Hager; brothers, William, Lowell and Ronnie Hager; sisters, Alberta Smith, Kathlene Bays and Hazel Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles “Boots” Tully; children, Charles Tully (Thelma), Gale McClure (Averrill), Joey Tully (Vikki), Pam Hill (James), Jeff Tully (Janet), and Angie Adkins (Mark); brother, Roger Hager; sisters, Jeraldine Miller, Joy Saddler and Deloris Messer; 15 grandchildren: Melody, Christopher, Denny, Jason, Beth Ann, Joseph, Brandi, Eli, Jarrod, Blake, Marshall, Chase, Ashley, Amber and Chelsea; and 18 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 22nd, at Tully Family Cemetery, located at Red Barn Ridge Road 1, Alkol, with Pastor Darrell Searls officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek.
David Allen Ballard 66, of St. Petersburg, Florida formerly of So. Charleston passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at Palms Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg after a short Illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Suda Hill Ballard.
He was retired from the Merchant Marines and a graduate of So. Charleston High School.
He is survived by his sisters; Violet Walls (Dorris) of Alum Creek and Ruth Ferrebee of Orrville, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, girlfriend Elena Lopez and good friend Rick Frame.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 24 at Forks of Coal Memorial Park Alum Creek with Pastor Dorris Walls officiating.

Joyce Elaine (Sisson) Pitts left this world and entered heavens gates on May 17, 2014, at the age of 68.
She was preceded in death by her parents John & Pearl (Cantley) Sisson, and brothers, Billy and Richard.
She is survived by her sons, Terry of Charleston, A.D. of South Charleston, Carmon, of NY, Tammy of North Dakota, Angie of Florida and Joretta of Indiana; Sisters: Debby Arbogast and Lora Karen Whitlock.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held at a later date with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park. Curry Funeral Home Alum Creek is assisting the family.
Norris Glen Dunlap, 53, of Sod, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 15, 2014, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Royce Dunlap and Shirley K. Dunlap.
He was a Christian and had a great love for animals, traveling to different countries, and watching NASCAR and received a 4-year degree in accounting from WV State University.
He is survived by brothers: Scotty (Pam) Dunlap, Ted (Barbara) Dunlap, Jamey (Tricia) Dunlap, Kevin (Stephanie) Dunlap, Scott (Tina) Hensley, and sister, Cassy (Larry) Dunlap Miller; step-Dad, Melvin Bo Dunlap, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and also lifelong caregiver Peggy Black.
Service will be 3:00pm on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Curry Funeral Home Chapel, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery at McCorkle. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
David Lee Kelly, II, 56, of Wilson, NC died at home Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debora Jane Eberhart.
He is survived by his loving family, including his sisters, Laura Whitehurst, and husband Marshall Pal, of Greenville, NC, Kimberly Jean Kelly, and husband, Terri McKelvey, of Clarksburg, MD; brother, Christopher Warren Kelly, and wife, Sharon, of Warner-Robins, GA; nephew, Nickolas David McKelvey, of Clarksburg, MD; niece, Kristie LillKendey, of FL; and a great niece, Emma Leigh LillKendey, of FL.

James L. Tugwell Jr. 73 of South Charleston passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Tugwell, and parents James and Pearl Bryant Tugwell.

Suzann McClure Hall, 64, of Yawkey went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 2, 2014 at CAMC General after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Denver Hall; parents, Elmo and Virginia McClure; brother, Jackie and sister, Gloria Jean.
She is survived by her daughter, Mindy (Rex) Christian of Yawkey; brothers, Junior (Diane) McClure and Timmie (Joyce) McClure; sister, Betty (Jim) Kramlich; five grandchildren, Melinda (Dillion) McCartney, Ben, Crystal, Chris and Peter and 4 great grandchildren.
