edward-lee-pauley-2Edward (Eddie) Lee Pauley, 49 of Alum Creek, WV, exchanged his earthly body for his glorified one on December 5, 2016 while surrounded by family and friends.
Eddie fought a 6 month battle with cancer like he went about everything in his life–with everything in him. Eddie was an all or nothing kind of guy who loved life and loved to laugh.  He was proud of his work as a hardwood floor installer/refinisher and very gifted and skilled at it. He loved deer hunting and church and God. His belief held strong that God would heal him either here or in Heaven and that he was a winner either way. But most of all, he LOVED his family with passion and abandon.
He is reunited in Heaven with his mother Sharon Pauley, who loved and spoiled her baby boy while here on earth.
His family who survive him, who deeply loved him and aren’t quite sure how to live without him are his wife, Tammy, daughters, Debon (Christopher) Weekley, Tessa Jones, and Erika Pauley, son Jacob Pauley, father, Fray Pauley, sisters, Debra (Randy) Griffith, Sonya (George) Core, and Leatha (Ronnie) Flowers, and brother, Steve Pauley, along with a great many other family members and friends.
There will be a public memorial service to honor and celebrate Eddie’s life at McCorkle Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, December 15 at 6:30 pm. A dinner for family and friends will precede the service at 4:30 pm in the church auxiliary building.
From the family: a special thank you to McCorkle Free Will Baptist Church and family and friends for all they’ve done for Eddie and his family in his illness and their time of need.
