PERRY ALEX ELKINS, 80, OF SUMERCO DIED FRIDAY, MAY 22, 1998 AT CAMC MEMORIAL DIVISION AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS RETIRED FROM WRIGHT TIRE & BATTERY IN CHARLESTON, WAS A WWII ARMY VETERAN AND A MEMBER OF THE ALUM CREEK VFW POST 4768.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: ELLEN LOUISE ELKINS; 2 SONS: JERRY WAYNE ELKINS OF SPRINGFIELD, OH; DONALD RAY ELKINS AT HOME;
4 GRANDCHILDREN; 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SUNDAY, MAY 24, 1998 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR RICHARD MCCALLISTER AND PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WITH MILITARY GRAVESIDE RITES GIVEN BY THE ALUM CREEK VFW POST 4768 WILL BE HELD IN FORKS OF COAL CEMETERY, ALUM CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, MAY 23, 1998 FROM 7 TO 8:30 PM.
