LOWELL L. “STUB” WOODRUM, 76, OF SWEETLAND DIED MONDAY, MAY 11, 1998 AT HOME AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED COAL MINER, A MEMBER OF THE UMWA, A MEMBER OF THE DUVAL DISTRICT VFW POST 6942 AT GRIFFITHSVILLE AND A WWII ARMY VETERAN.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: 4 DAUGHTERS: ANITA TEMPLETON OF SWEETLAND, WV; WANDA WOODRUM OF SWEETLAND, WV; LOREETA GAIL BOWMAN OF BUCKHANNON, WV; VANNESSA SPENCE OF SWEETLAND, WV; 3 SONS: LARRY CAUDILL OF UNEEDA, WV; LOWELL WOODRUM, JR. OF BROOKS, KY; EDDIE VANNATTER OF LOUISVILLE, KY; 1 SISTER: LOIS MEADOWS OF BALD KNOB, WV; 16 GRANDCHILDREN 17 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT WOODLAND CEMETERY, SWEETLAND, WITH DAVID TEMPLETON OFFICIATING. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, IN CARE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
