CECIL DUNLAP, 70, OF SUMERCO DIED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1998 AT CAMC MEMORIAL DIVISION AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED BOILER MAKER, A MEMBER OF BOILER MAKERS UNION ,667, A MEMBER OF THE PINE GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, HE WAS AN ARMY VETERAN AND MASTER SERGEANT OF THE KOREAN WAR, HE WAS POW FOR 36 MONTHS AND HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ALUM CREEK VFW POST X4768.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: SHIRLEY DUNLAP; 3 SONS: TIM DUNLAP OF CHARLESTON, WV; PAUL DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; MATT DUNLAP OF HOME; 1 DAUGHTER: ERIN STEPHENS OF ALUM CREEK, WV; MOTHER: FANCY DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; 4 BROTHERS: CLINE DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; DEAN DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; CHARLES DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; BILLY DUNLAP OF SUMERCO, WV; 2 SISTERS: JOSEPHINE PAULEY OF SUMERCO, WV; SHIRLEY SMITH OF SUMERCO, WV; 5 GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1998 AT 11:30 AM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WITH MILITARY GRAVESIDE RITES GIVEN BY THE ALUM CREEK VFW POST X4768 WILL BE HELD IN THE OLD PINE GROVE CEMETERY, MCCORKLE. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1998 FROM 6 TO 9 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
