Glenvil W. “Tommy” Meickles, 54 of Alum Creek died Sunday, December 26, 1999 at home after a short illness.
He was a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service in Charleston.
He is survived by his: Wife: Jean; Daughter: Beth Stewart of Brounland, WV; Brother: Lenny Meickles of Alum Creek, W V; 6 Sisters: Deloris Hill of Alum Creek, WV; Dorothy Thaxton of Charleston, WV; Ella Rae Myers of Alum Creek, WV; Rebecca Phipps of Alum Creek, WV; Vada Mooney of Wheeling, WV; Virginia Harless of Brounland, WV; 2 Grandchildren: Kimberly and Tiffany Stewart of Brounland, WV.
Services will be held at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lloyd Humphreys officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, McCorkle. Friends may call on Monday, December 27, 1999 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
