Bernice I. Lewis, 81, of South Charleston, died Sunday, November 7, 1999 at Marie’s Board and Care, Phoenix, Arizona.
She was a retired Lay Away clerk for the Stone and Thomas Department Store, Charleston and was a member of the Green Valley Church of God, St. Albans.
She is survived by her: 1 Son: Stanley Lewis of Coatsville, PA; 1 Daughter: Suzanne Gribben of Phoenix, AZ; 2 Sisters: Margaret Agee of Richmond, VA; Myrtle Coen of Jacksonburg, WV; 3 Brothers: Bob Lively of Santa Maria, CA; Otis Lively of Fresno, CA; Bernard Lively of Charleston, WV; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Green Valley Church of God, St. Albans, on Friday, November 12, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Bowman officiating. Entombment will be held in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call on Thursday, November 11,1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the church. In lieu offlowers the family suggests donations be made to the Green Valley Church of God, 518 Green Valley Drive, St. Albans, West Virginia, 25177. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, is in care of arrangements.
