Charles Henry Gillispie, 67, of South Charleston died Monday, September 6, 1999 at home after a long illness.

He was a retired truck driver for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines at Institute, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church South Charleston and Teamsters Local 175 Charleston for 29 years. He also was a Army veteran and a life long resident of Kanawha County.

He is survived by his: Wife: Kay; 2 Sons: Charles Gillispie of South Charleston, WV; Nathan Gillispie of South Charleston, WV; 1 Daughter: Teresa Barnhart of Dunbar, WV; 1 Step Son: Larry Baxter of North Carolina; 1 Step Daughter: Anna Spencer of Sissonville, WV; 3 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren and 2 Step Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at 11:00 AM With Pastor Lloyd Humphreys officiating. Burial will be held in Forks of Coal Memorial Pazk, Alum Creek. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 7, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Caze Inc., 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25 064-3 1 99.
