John Fisher, Jr., 79 of 4809 Ohio Street, South Charleston died Monday, April 15, 1999 at home after a short illness.
He was a laborer for the city of South Charleston.
He is survived by his: 4 Sons: John Fisher of Dunbar, WV; Clarence Jack Fisher of Dunbar, WV; Charles “Buster” Fisher of Charleston, WV; Roger Fisher of Charleston, W V; 6 Daughters: Dolly Fisher of South Charleston, WV; Helen Payton of Chazleston, W V; Edna Reynolds of St. Albans, W V; Karen Scazbrough of Charleston, WV;Kathy Dixon of Charleston, WV; Leona “Jeanie” Slaymaker of Charleston, W V; 1 Brother: Frank Fisher of New York; 4 Sisters: Helen Fisher of Tampa, FL; Rosie Caldwel of Tampa, FL; Annie Perry of Tampa, FL; Angie Perry of East Bank, WV; 14 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, April 7, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Benny Bess officiating. Burial will be held in Hudson Family Cemetery, South Charleston. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 6, 1999 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
