Bernard C. Smith, 74, of South Charleston died Thursday, March 18, 1999 at Sunrise Care and Rehabilitation in Dunbar after a long illness.
He was the owner of Smith Landscaping and Nursery and a lifelong resident of Kanawha county.
He is survived by his: Wife: Louise; 1 Son: Gary L. Smith of Bridgeport, WV; 2 Sisters: Nellie Turley of South Charleston, W V; Betty Daniels of Dunbar, WV; 1 Brother: Delmer Smith of Dunbar, WV; 2 Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, March 20, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dennis Barnhart officiating. Burial will be held in the Tudor Cemetery, South Charleston. Friends may call on Friday, March 19, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
