MYRTLE L. TURLEY, 87 OF ALUM CREEK DIED FRIDAY JANUARY 22, 1999 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN SOUTH CHARLESTON AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER, A MEMBER AND FORMER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AT FORKS OF COAL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH IN ALUM CREEK AND A MEMBER OF THE PHILITHIA BIBLE CLASS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: 1 SON: MELVIN TURLEY OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 1 BROTHER: LESTER J. ALLEN OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV; 1 GRANDSON: KEVIN TURLEY OF BOONE, NC; 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: CASSIDY TURLEY; KATELYN TURLEY.
SERVICES WILL BE 2:00 PM SUNDAY, JANUANRY 24, 1999 AT THE CURRY FUENRAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, WITH PASTOR DAVID CYPHERS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN FORKS OF COAL CEMETERY AT ALUM CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 6 TO 8 PM ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 23, 1999 AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
