SIM VICKERS, 89, OF ALKOL DIED ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 1999 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED LABORER AT KANAWHA BLOCK IN CHARLESTON, A MEMBER OF CONSTRUCTION AND GENERAL LABORERS LOCAL UNION 1353 FOR 53 YEARS AND A MEMBER OF THE SUMERCO CHURCH OF GOD.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: DELPHIA MCCALLISTER VICKERS 1 DAUGHTER: JOLINE VICKERS NAKAMURA OF FLATWOODS, KY; 1 DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: WANDA VICKERS OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV; 9 GRANDCHILDREN; 18 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; 1 GREAT GREAT GRAND SON.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 17, 1999 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR RICHARD MCCALLISTER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN GRACELAND MEMORIAL PARK, SOUTH CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 16, 1999 FROM 6 TO 8 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
