REX R. HILL, 71, OF SOD DIED MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 1999 AT CAMC MEMORIAL DIVISION AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS A RETIRED SPRINKLER FITTER FROM LOCAL 669 IN CHARLESTON, A MEMBER OF THE ALUM CREEK CHURCH OF CHRIST, A MEMBER OF THE GRIFFITHSVILLE VFW POST 6942 AND A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: TRILBA F. HILL; 3 DAUGHTERS: ALTA MADDEN OF ALUM CREEK, WV; BONNIE PAULEY OF ALUM CREEK, WV; KIM QUINTRELL OF SUMERCO, WV; 1 SON: REX R. HILL, II OF SOD, WV; 1 SISTER: HELEN GOODE OF ST. ALBANS, WV; 10 GRANDCHILDREN; 1 GREAT GRANDSON.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 1999 AT 2:00 PM WITH MINISTER RICHARD RUNYAN, MINISTER GERALD WATTS AND MINISTER P.J. HICKS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WITH MILITARY GRAVESIDE RITES GIVEN BY THE ALUM CREEK VFW POST 4768 WILL BE HELD IN GRACELAND MEMORIAL PARK, SOUTH CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13, 1999 FROM 7 TO 9 PM.
