ERMOND A. VANCE, 76, OF WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 2, 1999 AT SUNRISE HEALTH & REHABILITATION CENTER IN DUNBAR AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED BRAKEMAN-CONDUCTOR FOR C&O RAILROAD IN HUNTINGTON WITH 35 YEARS SERVICE AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD TRAINMEN.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: ORETHA; 2 DAUGHTERS: PAULA SMITH OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV; DIANNA FULTZ OF GALLIPOLIS, OH;
2 SONS: JAMES VANCE OF HURRICANE, WV; LAWRENCE VANCE OF CHARLESTON, WV; 12 GRANDCHILDREN; 7 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES WILL BE 1:00 PM ON TUESDAY JANUARY 5, 1999 AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK WITH PASTOR CHUCK SMITH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN ENON CEMETERY AT SALT ROCK. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 6 TO 8 PM ON MONDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
