James Harold “Judge” Price, Sr., 67, of South Charleston died Thursday, September 7, 2000 at home after a long illness.
He was a retired coal miner of Southern Appalachian Coal Company, Bull Creek Operations, and a member of the UMWA Local Charleston.
He is survived by his: Wife: Evelyn Johnson Price; 1 Son: James Harold “Bubby” Price, Jr. of South Charleston, WV; 2 Daughters: Diane Marie Price of South Charleston, WV; Evelyn K. Shamblin Price of South Charleston, WV; 4 Sisters: Juanita Graley of Emmons, WV; Kathryn Holstein of Emmons, WV; Evelyn Gillispie of Emmons, WV; Helen Stringer ofRidgeview, WV; 5 Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Sunday, September 10, 2000 at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held in Johnson Cemetery, Spring Hill. Friends may call on Saturday, September 9, 2000 from 7 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
