Phyllis A. Pauley, 77, of South Charleston, died Saturday, April 29, 2000 at Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, after a short illness.

She was a former employee of the Kanawha County Board of Education, a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Alum Creek, had served as a Sunday School teacher at the Center Point Christian Church in Doddridge County and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 4768, Alum Creek where she served as Conductress and was chair person of the National Home for Children.

She is survived by her: Son: John E. Rabel of Alum Creek, WV; Daughter: Charlene Ray of Alum Creek, W V; 3 Brothers: John B. Rabel of Alum Creek, W V; Keith Albert Rabel of Alum Creek, W V; Thomas E. Rabel of Alum Creek, W V; 2 Sisters: Charlotte M. McGraw of Alum Creek, WV; Shirley I. Holstine of Alum Creek, W V; 5 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday May 2, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wallace York and Pastor Lloyd Humphreys officiating. Burial will be held in Forks of Coal Cemetery, Alum Creek with a Ladies Auxiliary service at the graveside by her sisters of Post 4768. Friends ma~ call on Monday, May 1, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home
