Martha Jane Eskew, 99, of South Charleston, died Friday, April 21, 2000 at the home of her daughter, Janice Whitlock with whom she made her home after a long illness.
She was a Christian, a homemaker, a lifelong resident ofKanawha County and was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Eskew, Sr., one daughter and two sons.
She is survived by: Additional Daughters: Virginia Eskew Sanders ofKopperston, WV; Betty Zane Hill of Elkins, W V; Dora Ellen McCormick of Dunkirk, IN;
3 Sons: George W. Eskew, Jr. ofBrounland, WV; Ken Allen Eskew of Robbins, TN; Paul David Eskew of Hartford City, IN;
38 Grandchildren; 68 Great Grandchildren; 28 Great Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
