Mabel Mae Gunnoe, 84 of Griffithsville, died Thursday, April 13, 2000 at Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Gunnoe, also by her 3 sons: Ray, Franklin, &Jimmy Gunnoe. She was a Christian and a Baptist.
She is survived by her: 4 Daughters: Nada Gunnoe of Griffithsville, WV; Bina McComas of Hamlin_ WV; Nola Miller of Griffithsville, W V; Daisybell Gunnoe of Griffithsville, WV; 4 Sons: Arlie Gunnoe of Sod, WV; Allen Gunnoe of Madison, WV; Orvie Gunnoe of Hedgesville, WV; Lowell Gunnoe of Manasas, VA; 2 Brothers: Donald Jarrell of Danville, WV; Luther Jarrell of Roosevelt, UT; 23 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren.
Service will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Sunday, April 16, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Rev. William Cline and Rev. Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be in Lively Cemetery, Sod. Friends may call on Saturday, April 15, 2000 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
