Raymond L. Lore, Sr., 73 of South Charleston, died Sunday, September 2, 2001 at the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston after a long illness.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was a former employee of Jasper Engines in South Charleston.

He is survived by his: Wife: Betty; 3 Daughters: Deborah Adkins of Charleston, WV; Connie Zimmerman of South Charleston, WV; Brenda Emond of Orlando, FL; 1 Son: Raymond L. Lore, Jr. of South Point, OH; 1 Sister: Lucille McCormick of Palm Harbour, FL; 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tony Conley officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
