Robert B. “Bob” Ballard

Robert B. “Bob” Ballard, 86 of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 4, 2001 at Valley Health Village in South Charleston after a short illness.

He was a retired utility foreman for Union Carbide, South Charleston with 42 years service. He was a 1934 graduate of Washington District High School, Alum Creek.

He also was a born again Christian and had attended Alum Creek Nazarene Church.

He is survived by his: 1 Daughter: Brenda Griffith of South Charleston; 1 Sister: Naomi Griffith of Victoria, TX; 3 Grandchildren: Alan Griffith of Lewisville, NC; Brenda Myers of St Albans; Robert B. Griffith of Alum Creek.

Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2001 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Gene Pauley officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to: The Christ Birthday Offering C/O Maranatha Fellowship, 2910 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans, W V 25177.
