Emmer F. Wade, 85, of Griffithsville, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 at home after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Griffithsville Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband Maynard and grandson Brandon.
She is survived by her: 3 Daughters: Mary Ellen Miles and Paula Higginbotham both of Griffithsville; Mazgazet Vickers of Alkol; 1 Son: Keith Wade of Griffithsville; 1 Sister: Eula Stowers of Hopewell, Virginia; 11 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, at 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002 with Minister Kim Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Memory Gazdens, Yawkey.
