James R. Cook, 53, of Alum Creek, formerly of Hurricane, died Tuesday, October 22, 2002 of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Cook was an employee of W.R. Mullahan Inc.
He is survived by: Wife: Joetta Lynn Carrier Cook of Alum Creek; Son: James W. Cook of Hurricane; 2 Daughters: Marjorie Stephanski of Port Jarvis, NY; Melodie McLane of Red House; 1 Step-Daughter: Emily Bennington of Myrtle Beach, SC; Mother: Helen Cook of Alum Creek; Sister: Donna Spears of Christiansburg, VA ; 7 Grandchildren; Newphew: Travis Walker.
Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2002 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek. Burial will beat Young’s Family Cemetery, St. Albans. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
