Harold D. Gillispie, 78, of Brounland, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Bennie Padilla Post 4768 Alum Creek.
He is survived by his: 3 Daughters and Son in law: Shirley and Grant Rhodes of Evans, WV; Chris Gillispie of St. Albans, WV; Kathy Gillispie of South Charleston, WV;
1 Son: Mark Gillispie at home; 3 Grandchildren: Matthew, Meghan and Corey; 2 Great Grandchildren: Brianna and Parker.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Monday Oct. 21, 2002 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will beheld in the Barker Cemetery, Ashford, with military graveside rites conducted by the Bennie Padilla Post 4768. Friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral hom.
