John W. “Bill” Wilson

John W. “Bill” Wilson, 74 of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 from CAMC Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired superintendent from the Sanitary Board of South Charleston, a member of the the Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, a member of the Bennie Padilla VFW Post #4768 and a W WII Navy veteran.

He is survived by his: Wife: Patricia “Pat”; 3 Sons: Brian of Ruckersville, VA; Randy ofNew Canton, VA; John of Deltona, FL; 2 Daughters: Vickie Spurlock of Richmond, VA; Deborah Wilson of St. Albans, WV; 1 Brother: Emmett of Brounland, WV; 2 Sisters: Betty Bookwalter of Bloomington, IN; Shawna Massey of Seth, WV;
7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, March 23, 2002 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tony Conley officiating. Burial with military graveside rites conducted by the Penny Padilla VFW Post 4768 will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park, Charleston. Friends may call on Friday, Mazch 22, 2002 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
