Elnora Akers Lipscomb 93, of Alum Creek, formerly of Sophia, past away Friday, November 28, 2003 at Heartland of Charleston after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Carlos Eugene and G. V. Lipscomb, seven sisters and one brother.
She was a member of Seventh Day Advent Church of Beckley.
She is survived by: 1 Daughter and son-in-law: Evelyn and Ennis Waddoups of Beatty, OR; 2 Sons and daughter-in-law: Hewitt and Carolyn Lipscomb of Arabi, GA; Clazence Lipscomb of Trail, OR; 1 Brother: Adair Akers of South Charleston, WV; 2 Sisters: Alberta Haga and brother-in-law, Barney of Sophia, W V; Eva Gragg of Scott Depot, WV; 9 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Robert Leadman officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
