Roscoe Johnson ,80, of South Charleston died  Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at home after a long illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosina Johnson and great-nephew, Cagun Vandall.

He was a farmer, owner of Johnson Roofing Company and was a WWII Army veteran.

He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law who considered Roscoe his best friend, Linda and Paul McCune of South Charleston; two nieces, Patti McCune and Diana Vandall; one great nephew, Cruz Vandall; special cousin, Butch Bennet of South Charleston.

Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery, South Charleston. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
