Woodrow Wilson Watson, 90, of South Charleston, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
He was a caustic operator at FMC, a member of Hilltop Baptist Church, South Charleston and an Army veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Pauley of Richmond, VA; two step-daughters, Betty Kinder of Dunbar, Nora Lowe of South Charleston; two sisters, Sally Fullerton of Huntington, Florabell Lay of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, William Watson of St. Albans; two granddaughters, Lori Garrison and Casey Cook both of Richmond, VA; five step-grandchildren, Teresa Pauley, Robert and Kelly Dodson, Phillip and Michael Lowe; Special nieces and nephews, B.J. McCague, Jack and Roger Watson, Sherry Keener, John Watson, Paula, Vickie, Dorcas, Pat, Lorretta, Butch, John and Dan.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial with military graveside rites conducted by the Benny Padilla VFW post 4768 will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, W V 25311.
