Susie R. Meadows, 87, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 31, 2004 at home after a long illness.
She was a Christian of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Meadows; parents, Edward and Anna Davis Holstine; sisters, Orpha Moore, Nola Parsons, and Magdeline Spaulding; brothers, Charles, Ray, Emory, Howard and Joe Holstine; special niece, Dorothy Moore.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Bill Graley of South Charleston, three sons and daughter-in-law, Glenn Lovell Meadows and William G. Meadows both of South Charleston, Rick and Lori Meadows of Charleston; two grandchildren, Jeremy Graley, and Tiffany Graley; three great grandchildren; two special nieces, Dolly Faye Maggard and Mary Janes Hypes.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Rev. Wallace York officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Rd., Alum Creek.

The family would like to thank the kind, compassionate and caring staff of Hospice for all their help and guidance during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Kanawha Hospice at 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064-3199
