Bob D. Means, 66, of Chesapeake, died Friday, October 29, 2004 at home after a brief illness.

He was an employee of the Marriott Hotel Charleston an Army veteran of the Korean War and was preceded in death by his wife Kerlene.

He is survived by his:
Daughter: Kay Samms of Buffalo, WV; 2 Sons: Corky Barley of Marmet, WV; Ronnie Barley of Williamston, SC; 2 Sisters: Doris Coleman and Helen Roberts; 9 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 1, 2004 at Curry Funeral Home Alum Creek with Rev. Steve Burns officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Benny Padilla VFW Post 4768 will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, So. Charleston. Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM today at the Cuny Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Rd., Alum Creek, WV.
