James E. Belcher

James E. Belcher, 83, of Tornado, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the VA Medical Center, Huntington, after a long illness.

He was a member of the Alum Creek Church of Christ, a retired Master Electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers of Chazleston and a Navy veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Virginia and Delores and son, James Allen Belcher.

He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Rinchich of Chazleston, Rita Miller of Foster; son, Jack Belcher of Ashford; step-daughter, Dorothy McCombs of Tornado; sisters, Doris Escue, Wilma Bradshaw, Barbara Ruby all of Sod, Helen McClure of Yawkey; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Minister Richard Runyan and Minister Justin heel officiating. Burial will beheld in Hayzlett Cemetery, Ganetts Bend. Friends may call on Friday, May 28, 2004 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
