Beloved wife and mother, Merri C. Mallory, 45, of Yawkey, died Monday, March 22, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Midway road.
She was currently employed at the Quick Mart in Yawkey and formerly was an activities director for area nursing homes.

Her husband: Bernie; Son &daughter-in-law: Bernie Mallory, II, and Anita of Davis Creek; Parents: Lyle and Shirley Atkins of Davis Creek; 2 Sisters &brothers-in-law: Sarah Jarrett and husband, Jeffrey of Elkview; Janet Malone and husband, Thomas of Davis Creek; 2 Brothers &sisters-in-law: Roger Atkins and wife, Teresa; Jeffrey Atkins and wife, LouAnn all of Davis Creek; Several nieces and nephews and best friend, Sarah Samples.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2004 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Rev. Gene Pauley officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Thursday, March 25, 2004 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
