Arthur A. Young, 82, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Beverly Health Care Center, Glasgow.
He is retired from Libby Owens Glass with 32 years of service. He attended the Cornerstone Church of God, Nitro. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Waz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma.
He is survived by: 2 Sons: Arthur Young, II and wife, Katherine of Charleston, WV Robert Young and wife. Hope of St. Albans, WV; 2 Daughters: Carolyn Walker of West Palm Beach, FL Dorcus Escue of Charleston; 1 Brother: Curtis Jr. Young of Elkview ; 2 Sisters: LouEllen Toler of Charleston Wanda Faye Toler of Charleston ; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Service will be 2:30 PM Friday, December 30, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastors Paul H. Farley and John R. Pack officiating. Burial will be in Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek. Friends may call Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
