Beatrice Ellen Whittington Flowers, 92, of Olcott, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Flowers; four sisters and two brothers.
She was an 80 year resident of Olcott and attended the Briar Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Gene and wife, Brenda of Olcott, Freddie and wife, Brenda of Sod, daughters, Sharon Ryan and husband, Jim of Alum Creek, Helen Moore of Sissonville; grandchildren and spouses, Rodney and Alice Flowers of San Diego, CA, Lisa and Tim Krisher of Hurricane, Michele and George Fayad of Ottawa, Canada, B.J. and Doug Ray of Dallas TX, Eddie and Michelle Moore of Sissonville, Renee’ and Joe Miller of Nashville, TN, Eric and Tammy Flowers of Alum Creek, Traci and Jerry Kessel of St. Albans, Cari and Scott Pauley of Alum Creek, Brian and Debbie Moore of Elkview; great grandchildren, Timothy, Matthew and Rebecca Flowers of San Diego, CA, Lauren, Taylor and Grace Krisher of Hurricane, Stephen and Christopher Fayad of Ottawa, Canada, Kelly and Holly Ray of Dallas, TX, Tanner and Payton Moore of Sissonville, Kaitlynn Miller of Nashville, TN, Dazin and Alyssa Flowers of Alum Creek, Colton Kessel of St. Albans, Thomas Cruise and Grant Moore ofElkview; brothers, Lawrence Whittington of Charleston, Mike “Eugene” Whittington of Sod, Jack Whittington of Scott Depot; sisters, Thelma Flowers of Olcott, Virginia Barnette of Detroit, MI.
Services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Gene Pauley officiating. Burial will be held at Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
