Mary E. Sisson, 90 of Alum Creek, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday November 15, 2005 at home after a short illness.

She was a homemaker and 70 year member of Briar Creek Baptist Church. A loving wife, mother, grandmother &Christian who loved and served the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Beulah Means; husband, Earl; son, Wayne; brother Dewey Means; sister, Pauline Chandler; special son-in-law, Ron Hunt.

She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Betty Howerton of Huntington; Connie Hunt of South Charleston; 2 Sons: Frank Sisson of South Charleston; Jerry Sisson of Kenna; 1 Sister: Loraine White of Lexington, NC; 15 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Tommy Roberts and her grandson, Pastor Kevin Howerton officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Pazk, South Charleston. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
