Farewell for now, Joel “Mack” Whitlock, beloved husband and father who was taken unexpectedly form his family on Tuesday, Nov 8, 2005.
Mack, 73, of South Charleston was a retired installer for Western Electric \ AT & T with 32 years service. He also greatly enjoyed 20 years of retirement with his loving wife and was a Korean War Air Force Veteran.

His wife of 49 yeras: Sandra; Son: Time and wife Melinda; Daughter: Myra Leclear and husband, Jerry; Mother: Marie “Whitlock” Bell; two Brothers: Jimmy Whitlock; David Whitlock and wife, Janice; Many Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be 2:00 PM on Friday, Nov 11, 200s at the Curry Funeral Home Chapel, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Pastor Wallace York officiating. Entombment will be in Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum, South Charleston with Military Graveside rites by the Benny Padilla VFW Post #4768. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mack was loved by all and will be greatly missed!
