Frank James Harris, Jr., 73, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2005 after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shearlean Nelson Hanris.
He was retired from Kanawha Electric, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was a member of the Charleston VFW and was of the Nazarene faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Shearl Harris of St. Albans; three sons, Frankie and David Harris both of Charleston, Tim Harris of St. Albans; one brother, Ronnie Harris of East Bank; one sister, Betty Hams of Charleston; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2005 at Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek with Pastor Jerry Cantley officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Bennie Padilla VFW Post 4768. Services are in care of Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek. Family request donations be made to Freedom Christian Church Manna Ministries, 114 West Main Street, St. Albans, WV 25177.
