Andrew Farmer, 75, of Alkol died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at home.

He was retired from Lincoln County Board of Education. He enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, June; daughter and son-in-law, Drema Taylor and George of Alkol; granddaughter, Amanda Miller and her husband, Walter of Spurlockville; two great grandsons, Andrew Miller and Franklin Cruz both of Spurlockville; sister, Geneva Hatten of Huntington; a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be Friday, September 30, 200s at 12:00 PM at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Rev. Mac Lilly and Rev. Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gazdens, Yawkey. Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
