Grace Clark, 68, of Yawkey, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her father, Millard “Pete” Kessinger.

She was a member of Sycamore Grove Missionary Baptist Church; retired president of S&S Trucking; retired from WV State Tax Department and a member of Eastern Star – 121 Madison.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two daughters and their husband, Shirley Hall and Ken of Alum Creek, Suzie Lawrence and Jimmy of Yawkey; mother, Jewel E. Kessinger of Alkol; three brothers and their wives, Millard “Jr.”Kessinger and Barbara of Rock Creek, Victor Kessinger and Evelyn of Nitro, Billy Kessinger and Sherry of Alkol, one sister and her husband, Elois Ashley and Paul of Alkol; three grandchildren, Ashlee Caldwell and husband, Kevin, Ja Lawrence, Jenna Hall one great grandson, Garrett Michael Caldwell .

Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastors Gene Pauley, Jackie Clark and Basil Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
