Delphia Vickers, 94 of Flatwoods, KY, formerly of Alkol, WV went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Community Hospice House in Ashland, Kentucky after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sim Vickers; daughter, Simotha and son, Deryck.
She was a homemaker a member of the Sumerco Church of God and attended the First Church of God, Ashland.
Delphia is survived by her daughter, Joline Nakamura of Flatwoods, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Wanda Vickers of South Charleston; brother, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Richard McCallister officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Pazk, South Charleston. Friends may call on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
