Daisy V. Miller, 81, ofAlum Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Hubbazd Hospice House, Charleston.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Post #4768 and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Edgar E. “Gene” Miller; daughters and their husbands, Betty and Jerry Thomas of Alum Creek, Helen and Herb Cook of Maryland, Ann and Mike Williams of Florida; son and his wife, Larry and Sandra Loftus of Alum Creek; eight grandchildren, April, Michael, Pamela, Jennifer, Paula, Jennifer, Tammy and Tonya; eight great grandchildren, Tammy, Sean, Devin, Harli, Garrett, Emily, Jazman and Kaleigha; sisters, Sue Cox of Charleston, Agnes Pridemore of South Charleston; numerous nieces and nephews and a wonderful circle of friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Mark Thaxton and Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in Miller Cemetery on Ballard Road. Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
