Icy DeBord Roberts

Icy DeBord Roberts, born on March 31, 1914 in Olcott, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Eldercaze in Ripley.

Icy is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Carl Roberts; pazents, William and Sallie Brown DeBord and eldest son, Kenneth Cazl Roberts.

Icy was a member of Briar Creek Missionary Baptist.

She is survived by her children, Ramona Hord and husband, Roy and Mary Ingram all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carol Aaron and husband, Floyd of Freeburg, Illinois, Judith Atkins and husband, Jerry of Columbia, South Cazolina, Tom Roberts and wife, Billie of Ripley, Alan Roberts and Rick Roberts and wife, Diana all of Charleston, daughter-in-law, Cherry Roberts of San Antonio, Texas, 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Icy was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and faithful member of her church. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 25, 2005 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Tommy Roberts officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Memorial Park, South Chazleston. Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
