Wendy Sue Dickerson, 42, of Ashford, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at home.
She attended Emmons Freewill Baptist Church.
Wendy is survived by her mother Christi Benedict of Ashford, father Harvey Benedict (Sharon) of Clear Spring, MD, mom #2 Gayle Javins of Ashford; children Jessica Keaffaber (Steve) and Gary Dickerson; grandchildren Steven Jr. and Domenic; special nieces Courtney and Kayla Javins of Ashford; siblings Tammy Lushabaugh (Randy), Carleda Benedict, Shawnte Benedict (Shawn), Harvey IV (Jodi), Steven Benedict (Michelle) Jeremiah Benedict (Nikki) and James Benedict (Crystal); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Curry Funeral Home.

Wendy was one of 8 children we were the 8 pack, now one has went home to God. There is no word to how I feel other then numb and lost. But I know she is safe and no longer suffering, she is at peace and with her niece Lena whom she loved so very much. Wen you earned those wings, fly high baby sis. I love you so much. Until we meet again.
Dickerson family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray that you find comfort in God’s promise at Acts 24:15, “there will be a resurrection” so that you can see Wendy’s smile again.
