My Dear Renee, so very, very sorry — It hasn’t been that long ago that I heard about the loss of your son, and my heart has hurt for you every day. I remember commenting to our coworkers numerous times while we were working together, what a wonderful, involved mother you are with your children. It was obvious they are your life, and how proud you are of each of them. I pray that you will feel him near you every day, and it may somehow help with all the pain and loss. My thoughts and prayers also to your family.
Renee, my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most heartbreaking loss. Austin was such a fine young man. I am so sorry I wasn’t able to attend his service. I am praying for you daily!
Love, Alton & Barbara

“You’ve got this Austin Cole.” I hear your mom saying as you walk up to bat or out into the field. I was reminded of this today as I picked Audrey up at school. The Seminole High School baseball field is across the street from the parking area. I heard the crack of a bat and you showed up with me right there in the parking lot. I breathed in the air and prayed that you are with Cody and you’re friends always. When they need a voice, you will be there in there ear, strong and steady. Tell them what they need to hear. Not what they want to hear, but always what they need. Just like I always hear your mom. We have the Watch now my friend. I won’t say goodbye. I’ll say we’ll talk at every single baseball game I go to from now on. Love you.
I am without words on the loss of your son, my son Timothy Adkins was a student at Lincoln County High School and graduated in 2016, I believe they were JROTC students at the same time, please accept my condolences on your family’s loss .
I’m so sorry—looks like he would have had a great future–feel really bad he never had the future—my love goes out to his family–I’m a cousin to his grandfather—our love goes deep because of our grandparents—they will meet him in heaven–love and prayers for the family
